Bio
Maia Timmons is entering her fourth year as an assistant coach with the MSVU women’s basketball team. A former player at the University of Ottawa, Maia graduated in 2021 and has since dedicated herself to coaching. This coming season, Maia recently completed her second and final year in the CCAA Female Coaching Mentorship Program.
Maia has also coached in the Maritime Women’s Basketball Association (MWBA) for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Most recently, she helped lead Team Nova Scotia's women's basketball team to a bronze medal finsih at the 2025 Canada Summer Games held in St. John's, Newfoundland.
