Bio
This is Guy's first season as head coach of the Mystics men's soccer team, after serving as an assistant coach during the 2025-26 season.
A certified CSC B Diploma licensed coach, Edwards has over 20 years of coaching experience across youth and senior levels in both Europe and in Canada. He is currently the High Performance Director of the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club and coached the U14 boys provincial team in 2025. Edwards was recently appointed to serve on the coaching staff of this season’s U15 boys program.
Before assuming his current role with Dunbrack, Edwards was the Program and Licensing Consultant with Suburban FC and coached their senior women’s and men’s college prep teams.
Originally from Lydney, Gloucestershire, UK, he earned a Bachelor of Law and a Masters in Procurement and Supply Chain at the University of South Wales while serving as a player-coach for their football club.
