The UKC Blue Devils ended the MSVU Mystics season with a convincing 4-0 semifinal victory to begin the men's portion of the 2025-26 ACAA Soccer Championships on Saturday.
The Blue Devils had a heavy presence within Mystics territory, not allowing MSVU into their zone often.
The team's regular-season leading scorer, Luke Kotaska, executed the performance of a lifetime with three of MSVU's goals to help send his squad to a third consecutive championship final.
His goals included a beautiful header from the top of the six-yard box in the 14th minute, a strong finish to a tic-tac-toe play with a bottom-left corner shot in the 57th minute, and a goal-line rebound in the 69th minute.
He rightfully earned the Blue Devils Player of the Game. Muhammed Hamo was named the Mystics Player of the Game.
UKC will await the winner between STU and UNBSJ in the other men's conference semifinal, and prep for the gold medal game on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
