Tynes named Men's Basketball Player of the Year
Five Mystics honoured at 2025-26 ACAA basketball Championships All-Conference Banquet
Third-year guard Chase Tynes was a force for the Mystics during the regular season. He led the league in rebounds with 162, assists with 111, and blocks with 19 while shooting 64.5% from the field. He averaged 13.6 points, 9.5 per game. He was named a first team -all-conference, the Dyrick McDermott Defensive Player of the Year and the Men's Basketball Player of the Year in honour of his achievements.
Joining Tynes as a first team all-conference is Isaiah Cromwell-Wright who led the league, averaging 21.8 points per game this season. He was second in the conference for three-point shooting, and fourth in steals.
Fifth-year guard Adam Callaghan was named a second team all-conference after a stellar season. He shot 40% from the field and 77.8 from the free throw line, and averaged 13.9 points per game to finish his final season with the Mystics.
First-year huard Mekhi Paris was named the rookie of they year after averaging 7.1 points per game this season. He played in all 18 regular season games, averaging 12.6 minutes per.
Head coach Danny De Palma was named the ACAA coach of the year for the second-year in a row after leading the Mystics to a first-place finish this year. They have earned a bye to the semifinal round on Saturday and will tip-off at 6pm. De Palma was also named the CCAA coach of the year last season.
