Jenna Allison
Second-year Middle Blocker, Jenna Allison, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Women's Volleyball.
Jenna delivered a strong performance for the Mystics in their weekend matchups against the STU Tommies. On Saturday, she recorded 6 kills, 1 ace, and 3 blocks, showcasing her offensive and defensive versatility. She followed up on Sunday with another solid outing, adding 5 kills, 1 ace, and 2 blocks to her stat line. Across both games, Jenna proved to be a key contributor for the Mystics, consistently impacting play at the net and from the service line.
Kelsey Matheson
First-year Forward Kelsey Matheson, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Women's Basketball.
According to Head Coach, Mark Forward:
"Kelsey Matheson played a dominant role off the bench in the Mystics’ convincing win over the Crandall Chargers at Crandall University.
Her high activity level and energy immediately impacted the game, earning her Player of the Game honours. Defensively, Kelsey set the tone with her physical play—collecting deflections, securing rebounds, and protecting the rim with strong shot-blocking. On the offensive end, she continued to shine by providing solid outlets, running the floor hard, attacking the basket, finishing through contact, setting effective screens, and grabbing key offensive rebounds.
Kelsey finished the game with 18 points on an impressive 7-for-10 shooting from the field, 3 for 4 from the foul line, added 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists, and a blocked shot. She was selected as the Player of the Game by the Crandall Chargers game-day staff."
Isaiah Cromwell-Wright
Fourth-year Forward, Isaiah Cromwell-Wright, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Men's Basketball.
According to Head Coach, Danny De Palma:
"Isaiah led the Mystics with a game-high 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting in just three quarters of play during our 100–74 road win at Crandall."
