Kenadie Wagg
Fifth-year Midfielder, Kenadie Wagg, is this week’s Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Women’s Soccer.
According to Head Coach Jenna Blackburn:
"Kenadie delivered outstanding performances in two crucial matches for the Mystics this weekend. She played the full 90 minutes in both games, showing relentless energy, resilience, and leadership in the midfield.
As both an attacking and holding midfielder, Kenadie made her presence felt all over the pitch. She committed to every challenge, leading the team with 10 tackles and over 60 completed passes across both games. Her tenacity and grit in the midfield were instrumental in controlling the tempo and breaking up opposition plays.
A standout moment came when she won a key aerial duel, setting up a goal that shifted the momentum in the team’s favour. Her ability to transition from defence to attack helped drive the team forward, and her consistent work rate was a major contributor to the team’s success this weekend."
